The Parents Association of Woodburn Students (PAWS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). We are an inclusive, volunteer organization with an elected board of directors. All parents and legal guardians of children currently enrolled at Woodburn Elementary School and Pre-School are regular, full, voting members of the Parents Association of Woodburn Students and may vote at any General Membership Meeting. There are no membership dues.

The purpose of this notice is to explain the practices and procedures we implement to protect your personal information, the way we use this information, and the choices you can make regarding our use of your personal information. This notice may be accessed by clicking on a “Privacy Policy” link that appears in the footer of each page of our website. PAWS is committed to protecting your privacy and will honor this Policy.
You may browse the publicly accessible pages of our website without submitting personal information. However, to receive PAWS communications, submit volunteer sign-ups, pay for PAWS items such as yearbooks, etc., you’ll need to have an active account at woodburnpaws.org and will be asked for applicable personal data. The purpose of collecting such data is to assist PAWS in contacting individuals and to collect payments made online.
No data will be shared with outside parties beyond our service providers Membership Toolkit and PayPal. You will receive information ONLY related to PAWS and as it relates to Woodburn Elementary School. Also, a reminder that PAWS is not able to access Camas School District’s contact data.
All purchases can be made using a credit card or debit card through Woodburn PAWS PayPal Account, but you do not need to have an account with PayPal. If you are trying to pay with a credit card that is linked to a PayPal account, PayPal requires you to login to your account.
Your Child’s Privacy
The safety of children is our primary concern, and we comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. When you create an account, we will collect your child’s personal information such as name, current grade, and teacher assignment. Your child’s personal information is subject to all of the terms of this privacy policy. Minors under 18 years old, or their parents/guardians, may request the removal of information by contacting communications@woodburnpaws.org. Upon such request, PAWS (at times with the help of Membership Toolkit) will anonymize or remove any content per the request, unless required by law to retain such content or information.
