PAWS Integrated Arts Program Volunteering

We depend on your help for this entirely volunteer-run art program that reaches all Woodburn students. No special creative or artistic skills required.

As a class assistant with the lesson, you'll help with set-up, distribute supplies, encourage students, help students stay on task, and clean-up.

Art Training Info for 24-25 School year:

Art training will be done online through adapted videos. 10 volunteer art kits will be left under the sign-in table near the front office inner doors. There will be a sign-in sheet for volunteer’s name and phone number.

Kits will be available on the Monday of the week BEFORE the project starts. Your finished art examples and art tools are required to be turned back in by Friday of that week.

Questions about the project should be sent to artcoordinator@woodburnpaws.org. That Friday, a list of any submitted questions, along with answers and suggestions, will be sent out to all of the volunteers.

Come join us as a classroom helper for this month's Art Project:

Make sure you've checked off art on our volunteer interest form to get the upcoming emails about opportunities. Remember: to volunteer in the classroom with the Integrated Arts Program, at school events, or on field trips, you also need to complete the Camas School District's Volunteer Form, which includes a background check. To complete the school district's background check, you can set up or update your account on the new district online volunteer management tool and then walk through the steps to complete your application.

Click here to update your current account or create a new one.  More information can be found here. Once completed, the approval lasts for two years and you can login to review the expiration date (though you may not be able to renew until the expiration date).
